Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer- Remote El Salvador

The Quality Assurance (QA) Engineers work collaboratively with developers, project management, digital solution analysts, and account teams. Our goal is to ensure that our clients’ websites meet high-quality standards. This position requires knowledge of - test case and test suite development, CMS testing, accessibility requirements, and how all the pieces of a website fit together. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and passionate about ensuring our client’s sites are fully functional, meet specifications, are responsive, and user friendly.

Requeriments:

• 2+ years of work experience
• 4-year college degree in relevant field (or comparable work experience).
• Must haves:
• -Testrail
• -Jira
• -CMS experience (can be Sitecore, Drupal or another CMS)
• -Advanced English speaking skills
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and when to use them:
• Smoke testing, Regression testing, UAT testing, Spot testing, etc. within both Agile and Waterfall workflows.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Demonstrated history of building test plans, writing test steps and test cases for both positive and negative tests.
• Experience with BrowserStack or comparable tool for cross-browser and device testing.
• Excellent task management skills with the ability to prioritize work across multiple projects in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Desire and ability to pick up new responsibilities quickly.
• Ability to clearly define, document, and troubleshoot errors.
• Ability to employ analytical thinking to solve problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in Jira, TestRail, BrowserStack, Confluence and SharePoint.

Responsabilities:

• Create and maintain test cases and test suites using TestRail.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) across multiple platforms.
• Write detailed and easy to understand bug tickets using Jira.
• Test and verify bug fixes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and Digital Solution Analysts to identify root causes of defects and recommend solutions.
• Communicate risk to Project Managers and Account Managers as needed.
• Work with Developers to construct effective test strategies and test plans.
• Perform exploratory testing if provided partial requirements and consider all possible edge cases. 
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Recommend improvements to the user’s experience. 
• Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies. 
• Provide test support during all releases. 
• Be an active participant in meetings.
