General Manager / Boutique Hotel

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on hospitality professional to oversee the daily operations of a boutique hotel. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with strong operational, guest service, and team management experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.


Key Responsibilities.

  • Oversee all daily hotel operations and ensure smooth operational performance.
  • Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and service quality.
  • Supervise front desk, housekeeping, guest services, and maintenance coordination.
  • Monitor occupancy, arrivals, departures, and room readiness.
  • Ensure guest rooms, amenities, and operational equipment are properly maintained.
  • Manage operational inventory and coordinate supply orders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and security protocols.
  • Support hotel operations directly when required in a hands-on capacity.


Staff Leadership.

  • Supervise, schedule, and support hotel staff.
  • Train employees on service standards, operational procedures, and workplace policies.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Conduct staff coaching and ongoing performance development.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels according to operational needs.


Guest Experience.

  • Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Resolve guest concerns and operational issues efficiently.
  • Ensure a welcoming, safe, and professional environment for all guests.


Administrative and Operational Management.

  • Monitor labor scheduling and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain inventory controls and operational supply levels.
  • Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ensure proper handling of hotel systems, equipment, and electronic transactions.


Requirements.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel management or hospitality supervision.
  • Experience in boutique hotels, limited-service hotels, or small property operations preferred.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, hospitality systems, and electronic payment platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and make operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
