
Senior Financial Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key business partner to the Marketing, R&D, and G&A organizations, providing financial insights, planning support, and decision-making analysis. This role is responsible for driving budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting across multiple functions, helping leaders manage spend, evaluate investment decisions, and align with overall company financial goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a finance business partner to Marketing, R&D, and G&A leaders, supporting financial planning, budget management, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close activities, including accruals, reclasses, and variance explanations.
- Analyze and report on actual vs. plan/forecast for operating expenses, headcount, and project costs, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Support ROI analysis for marketing campaigns, product development initiatives, and enterprise-wide G&A investments.
- Assist in resource allocation planning and prioritization of initiatives across supported functions.
- Prepare executive-ready reporting packages and dashboards that provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Drive process improvements in financial planning, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies and support audit or internal control requests as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a corporate or divisional finance role supporting multiple functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
