DevOps Engineer - eCommerce

About the role
The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for implementation, security, and support of the Envista digital landscape. This includes infrastructure on prem and in cloud, service management, CI/CD pipelines, release management and automation. The Engineer will work closely with Development teams both internal and external, Infosec team, Networking team, Testing team and product owners to unify operational efforts for all Envista web applications.
Main Functions
- Infrastructure management. Secure, Elastic, Highly Available IAAC in cloud and on-prem.
- Support Web Development Teams for Digital platforms and integrations with SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Own CI/CD pipelines
- Own development tools like Git, BitBucket, Bamboo, Terraform, Ansible, Jira etc.
- Own cloud and DevSecOps processes
- Work collaboratively with IT security team to secure eCommerce landscape
- Release management
- Monitor existing services and perform maintenance as required
- Participate in production support off hours when required
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of multi-tier architecture.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Linux administration – Redhat or Debian based distros.
- Demonstrated knowledge of git, Ansible, Terraform.
- Understanding of databases, queueing, and caching technologies.
- Advanced English level (both spoken and written)
