This position plays a critical role in the Financial consolidation of the Americas Exports operating company. The position will be responsible to lead the internal, global, and external audits, ensuring to be delivered in a timely manner.

Additionally, is responsible that the entities the Americas Exports manages are reported correctly internally and externally, according to the current fiscal and accounting laws. Changes within the system, reviewing accounts to ensure financial accuracy is also part of the key responsibilities. Finally, the Banks are also within the responsibility, and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure OTIF closing of all entities withing Americas Exports operating company

• Develop close relationship with Controller and Reporting and Accounting to ensure up to date booking rules are applied.

• Ensure financial accuracy with a reasonable amount of error margin.

• Accounts payable cycle for marketing expenses booking based on inputs.

• Manage and propose monthly, quarterly, year-end accruals for full P&L. Also verifies posting to related G/L accounts.

• Allocate and cross charge within Americas exports, and Intercompany charges.

• Performs foreign exchange analysis and effects of currency exchange and hedging operations in the results, and prepares monthly FOREX calculation.

• Prepare accounts reconciliation for P&L and balance sheet accounts.

• Book quarterly pay-for-performance, loyalty programs, based on inputs from Strategic comptroller.

• Leads all audits, ensures drumbeats and deliverables from key stakeholders, and drumbeats to ensure audits are preformed properly.

• Ensures external reporting according to fiscal and accounting laws are respected and done in a timely manner.

• Coordinates with other OpCos for best practices to ensure reduction of workloads.

• Reviews some key ICFRs to ensure quality of financial reports.

Background / Experiences:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, Economics, Master degree in Finance, MBA or Economics is a plus.

Experience: 3-5 years minimum in financial, including controller/accounting operations experience and leading audit processes.

Experience in consumer goods companies

Know-how: Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must. Power BI is required. CIL experience a plus.

Languages: English mandatory. Spanish/French is a plus.
