Regional Buyer

Job Summary:

As a Regional Buyer, you will be instrumental in the strategic sourcing of products and services across multiple countries. You will work closely with local and international suppliers to negotiate contracts, ensuring quality standards are met and costs are optimized. Your role is crucial in maintaining our company's competitive edge and contributing to our sustainability objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute regional purchasing strategies to optimize quality, cost, and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, supply chain, and finance, to align purchasing strategies with business goals.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess trends and innovations.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, focusing on sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with our quality standards and ethical guidelines.
• Analyze procurement data to report on performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with local and international teams to ensure a cohesive purchasing strategy.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and retail.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the retail industry.
• Proven track record of successful supplier management and negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English. Additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects across multicultural teams.
• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
