General Accountant - Industrial Company

Reports to: / General Management Languages: Spanish + English B2–C1 Modality: On-site

Responsible for the full accounting management of the textile company, ensuring accurate recording, analysis, and financial reporting under local and international standards. Guarantees internal controls, tax compliance, and provides strategic information to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle: recording, reconciliations, monthly and annual closings
• Prepare and present financial statements (IFRS / GAAP) and management reports
• Manage cost accounting for textile production.
• Control fixed assets, inventories, and raw material valuation on a monthly and annual basis.
• Coordinate tax declarations (VAT, Income Tax, withholdings) and handle external audits.
• Prepare financial reports in English for the parent company or foreign partners.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support budgetary planning and variance analysis.
• Treasury management.

Requirements

• Degree in Public Accounting / CPA
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent (desirable)
• Knowledge of IFRS / NIIF
• English B2–C1 (oral and written)
• Advanced ERP system proficiency (SAP / Oracle / Dynamics)
• Advanced Excel / Power BI (desirable)
• 5+ years in accounting positions
• 3+ years in manufacturing or textile industry
• Experience in international closings
• Supervision of accounting teams
• Coordination of external audits
• Reporting to regional / international management
• Experience in free trade zones

Additional Information

• Salary: $4,000 to 5,000  depending on experience
• Location: Lourdes, La Libertad
• Modality: In-person
