Bilingual Accountant

Location: Escalón, San Salvador

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (On-site)

About the Role

At SEE Talent, we are looking for a Bilingual Accountant responsible for preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with Salvadoran accounting and tax regulations for international clients.

This role plays a key part in delivering accurate financial information, supporting foreign companies, and ensuring proper application of local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting records, journal entries, and supporting documentation
• Prepare monthly tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Process payroll and related reports
• Handle accounting and financial requests from international clients
• Participate in meetings with international clients
• Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing the full accounting cycle
• Advanced English level (mandatory)
• Experience in accounting firms or service-based companies
• Experience preparing financial statements, tax filings, and accounting reports
• Strong ability to communicate with international clients
• Soft Skills: Teamwork, Leadership, Client orientation, Professional ethics and integrity, Effective communication
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of financial and accounting regulations, Knowledge of Salvadoran tax laws, Tax filing preparation, Financial statement preparation, Payroll processing, ERP and accounting systems management, Advanced Excel.
